Maybe Dreams Are Possible

 

For years, they separately dreamed of changing things.

Like barnyard hens, they scratched around,

here and there, doing what they could to

help those who needed more than most offered.

Then, after long, dark nights of dreams

impossible to believe in, they woke to the

clear, tangible knowledge that together

they could make dreams into possibilities.
